Adoption
When we are out and about buying groceries so many people stop and ask, "Are your kids adopted?" My mom's answer is always "Yes." Other people's response, "Wow," or "Really?" Something that people ask us all the time is, "Are you off of school today?" I say, "Umm, no, we are homeschooled." "Oh," they say. Don't they ever have the experience of knowing adopted kids or homeschoolers? Adoption as well as being homeschooled is the BEST decison out there that my parents decided. They, as well as me, will have the privilage of being there for another adoption experience. I was there for Ariana's (I don't remember much because I was 3 but I was still there :), Alexa's, Isaiah's, Elijah's, and soon to be Kendra and Josiah's. Adoption is a wonderful thing and I couldn't be any happier for the wonderful family God placed me in. Yes, adoption may be tough at times, waiting for our goverment or China, but it is definitaly worth it. I agree whole heartily 101%. We all want to be in China RIGHT now when we want it to be. But did you ever think that maybe that is not what God wanted for us? He is the only one who knows when we are going to leave. You simply have to trust that it is His will and not our will. So, please look into the adoption world out there. There are millions of orphans in the world and you could save one. 88 million minus 1. The question that you probably will ask yourself is, why are there so many? The reason, so many get abandoned, hurt, a family member died....the list can go on, and on. Isn't it sad to think what happens to orphans all around the world? With your help you might be able to save one child that's hungry and hurt. They need a father and a mother to love them and need to hear the Gospel. For Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for the kingdom belongs to such as these." Isn't that wonderful, with your help Jesus wants you to spread the Gospel and preach it to the world so many can sit at His right throne in heaven someday. So PLEASE, look into the adoption world.
